making memories meets tim holtz....

25 april 2009 was one of the most wonderful days in my scrapping life. TIM HOLTZ had come to south africa and was presenting a class called grungeboard memoirs, hosted by SCRAPBOOKEX. jayme shephard from making memories was also there teaching. i also love mm goodies, but oh, the tim holtz, ranger, idea-ology combination gets my creative juices flowing! as an incentive to come to october 2009's convention, they gave us a challenge to give us a chance to win a ticket. i was so excited, i jumped right in. of course i did not read the instructions proper - who has time to do that when you can CREATE, so i did not win. but, i thoroughly loved making the layout. my good friend jowilna nolte won, and you can see the beautiful winning layout here. i don't think i know anyone that deserves it more! i am very proud to know her!
