in stitches...........

i love stitching on my pages. wonder why - as i HATED anything that was connected to stitching in school!! oh well!! the challenge this week at Scrap and Stamp Saturdays is to use stitching ( and a stamp!!!) on your page.

i used faux stitching with my white inkssentials gel pen and real stitches in the red. i cut the tag with my cuttlebug and one of Tim Holtz' dies. i then stamped the word "together" ( Heidi Swapp) and embossed it with Seafoam white EP. i added real ribbon under it and made the pleats with the patterned paper and added a brad to each pleat. i punched a circle and an oval and layered them to create a journaling block.

i used Autumn leaves' postmark stampset and here i stamped with Walnut Stain distress ink. added a few buttons and bob's your uncle! so, hop on over to SSS. there have been some changes in the way we do things, so you will have more time to complete your layouts!
