bittersweet birthday....

yesterday was my birthday....  it was a bittersweet day.

the photo above was taken last night.  

it was the last photo taken for a while of our precious little family in our own home in Jeffreys Bay.

we spent my birthday packing Marius' most important belongings and then some.  he left for Gauteng at 5am this morning to move there permanently for work.

we knew it might happen one day - we just did not think we would have less than a week to prepare for it.... 

he heard last Wednesday, while in Gauteng for work, that they wanted him there permanently from today....

so, it was a really bittersweet birthday .....

 i am very proud of you.....

i can't wait to see you again.....

i love you so very much.....
