another card



hello everyone! here is another card i made - this time i was LAZY and i wanted to use one of my new ARTISTIC OUTPOST stamps, so i grabbed my slice that my best friend gail gave me for my birthday, some acrylic paint and i started slapping it together. not too shabby, i thought!!

here is how i did it:

  • made a 15cm x 15cm card from doublemates cardstock in YELLOW
  • cut the patterned paped background 14cm x 14cm and adhered to yellow card
  • from left over cheap card, die cut the frame with my slice
  • painted it with Adirondack Paint Dabber in Red Pepper, available from Gail
  • distressed a square of the cheap card with antique linen distress ink
  • stamped my image from ARTISTIC OUTPOST
  • adhered the stamped image to the back of the frame
  • glued to card
  • added 3 flowers by PRIMA and used Stickles on the large one in front

AND VOILA!!!! One easy card! All these products i bought at gail's shop - really affordable!

Lovely Cariena!! You are so lucky to be able to make cards in all the different mediums! I have signed up for the Vintage Love Moo swap and I don't have a clue (or the stamps) where to begin! Any suggestions??
