atc storage chapter 1
marlene, a member of my "all things tim" group, asked a good question about atc storage. here are a few examples of how i store them. i love my little accordian book - as demonstrated by Bernie Berlin in her book, Artist Trading Card Workshop. then there is the concertina folder, as demonstrated by Club Scrap. finally, the 7gypsies atc-carousel and of course the baseball sleeves, as mentioned previously. the 7 gypsies carousel can hold about 60 ATC's comfortably - i think you will struggle to flip through them all if you have more. the concertina holder will hold as many as you want, depending on the size you make it, same goes for the accordian file.
in my first chapter on atc storage, i am tackling the accordian file as found in Bernie Berlin's book. i used on piece of 12 x 12 black cardstock - you can use any colour you choose. i then cut it into three 4 x 12 pieces, and glued them together so that one long strip is formed. i then embellished it with bleach stamping, colourful chalking, stamping with bubblewrap and acrylic paint etc. you can knoc yourself out. you can use as many pieces of cardstock as you want - it is YOURS!!!
you can also glue atc's on both sides of the book, so with one piece of 12 x 12 cardstock, i made an accordian folder that houses 18 atc's. personally i think it is a bargain for less than a dollar!! (of course the final cost all depends on how you EMBELLISH the folder...............lol)
