my sanctuary

i did this layout in january, and as i was busy becoming a follower of AMANDA's blog just now, i realised i did not have a picture of myself, so i was a blue, faceless, follower. ( i still am, as i have no idea how to load the picture so that it shows.) as i was rummaging through my pictures to find one, i stumbled across this layout. the pictures were taken in the middle of summer - january, in our garden. i used lots of standard brown book cover paper that was crumpled up and sprayed gold, watercolour painting self made embellishments, a mesh like tape bought at the hardware store and gold embossed, and my fiskars border punch that i bought two years ago, and just never used, because it looked to hard! i also used beeswax to make the blob with the butterfly on the foreground. it was a fun layout!
