my bucket list
the challenge at Scrap and Stamp Saturday this week is to use NON- TRADITIONAL items on your layouts. that would include items that you do not buy at your LSS!!! we were sent the most wonderful paper and different materials to work with, and this is what i came up with.
the bucket photo was taken by Desiree, a stunning picture. at first i was going to do a very deep layout about how we are like buckets with lots of holes - and what we are full of, we spill out to the world, but then it just kind of evolved into the bucket list!
because i used the black patterned paper as my background, and it was very busy, i took my Adirondack Pitch Black paint dabber and just wiped it in the corners. i then used my lettuce dabber and a Tim Holtz stamp to stamp in the corner. the rub on is by 7 Gypsies.
i layered the non traditional items - first the plastic mesh, then the foil that i put through the cuttlebug and swiped with Stazon, then the corrugated board, and finally the journal note. the title was made with MM alphabets that i got at the South African Scrapbook Convention last year. and there you have it! hop on over to the blog at SSS - there is a WONDERDUL prize up for grabs!
