Monica had to teach an impromptu card class on friday - Bettie's daughter was visiting and they wanted to make a card. when some other ladies hear that a card class was being taught, they also wanted to join in the fun! here they all are being instructed by Monica.
on Saturday Genevieve taught a heritage class. the power died at about 10am - so we took out candles! the ladies were adamant that they were not going to be deterred! you can see one of the ladies even in the kitchen! they worked like this for almost an hour!!! the whole town's power was out, some cable being damaged due to the strong winds. sorry for the bad picture quality - it was very dark!!
here is the card Monica taught - i mean really...............is it not the CUTEST thing! that bird just does it for me!! and the little pleated nest!! thanks Monica!! can't wait to see what you come up with next!!
