SA Scrapbook Convention 2010 - CHAPTER 1

hello everyone!! it has been some time, but here i am with the first instalment of the SA Scrapbook Convention 2010! this was the best convention i have been to. from the beginnning to the end. retailer's day was Friday - excellent. ( more on that when those projects are finished!!) saturday morning started off with Tracie Hudson for Sassafras Lass. i bought some of their papers a while ago, but have to admit that it was just too overwhelming. i did use it on a layout here, but did not think that i would be interested in more of it. well, when we opened our packs and saw LOADS of VERY BUSY papers, i am sure no one had a clue! and this is what we did! i loved it! she is a fabulous teacher. she shared so much knowledge - and i love that in a teacher. i know some SA teachers say that you must never give out too much info in a class - i have always differed from that view. i tend to go back where i learn alot, and people can't remember everything in one lesson anyway! so if you give lots of info, they might remember half or some of it that applies to them then, but i believe people will appreciate the lesson more if they feel you are not stingy with info! and Tracie is one of the most sharing people i have met. she taught us many techniques, gave lots of tips on various Scrapbooking basics - like the Z-line etc. you can view full instructions for this layout and many more here . so, this is my version! my cousins little boy eating Iced Zoo Cookies - i think every South African child had at least one growing up!! enjoy your day - i will have chapter 2 up and running as soon as that layout is finished!
