anything goes...........
that is the theme this week at Scrap and Stamp Saturdays. i only have a few photos of Marius and i, and Desiree took some of us a few months ago. i had not gotten around to using them, and i thought it was about time! the paper actually inspired me - i was cleaning the paperracks in the shop - removing all the papers that were 3 or less to put in the sale bin. i did not even know i had this paper from Basic Grey's Nook and Pantry's range. we also made some packs with die cuts, and when i saw the half bracket journal card, it was a perfect match! i printed the photo in black and white. stamped with my fired brick distress ink onto the photo - did you know that distress inks give a perfectly crisp and clear image when you stamp with them on glossy paper? - and i made some french knots as a corner.
a few hand made flowers from dictionary paper, a VERY old sticker from Creative imaginations on top of a punched scallop circle and something i learnt this week - how to make the curly things with your craft knife when you cut the paper in very thin slithers completes the layout! AND THEN - i saw the SMUDGES!!!! all over the bottom! so, out came my home made glimmer mist from perfect pearls and distress reinker. you can see everything is sprayed! LOL! at least the smudges are gone! hope you like it - hop on over to SSS and enter your layout - remember, anything goes, but you have to have at least one stamped image on your layout!
