Create with Cariena - at last...

at last 

a couple of years ago i bought a little HD digital video camera and told a colleague that i think she must take it and film classes.  unfortunately she did not have the time to do so and the camera just got shoved into a cupboard.

then, end of July 2016, i had to take some time off (doctor's orders) after a non-stop 8 week grueling traveling-for-work marathon. i had no idea of what to do when one has time off.

one day, early August 2016, i was cleaning cupboards. and i found the little camera. 

 hmm.  what to do with it?  

an idea was born.  if i could not teach on the road all the time, i could take the classroom to my students.  hello YouTube!

YouTube was fun for a while, but the videos took forever to upload, there was very little interaction available between the students (viewers) and i and it just did not feel personal to me.

so, during March 2017, in a friend's lounge, on the carpet, the idea of the Create with Cariena Classroom was born.  

of course i had NO idea of how i was going to do this and not for a minute did i think that it would be hard work (which i REALLY love, i honestly LOVE working) involving elements that i had NO control over... like internet speeds, website restrictions etc etc.

but, i am so thrilled to have launched Create with Cariena on Friday, 18 August 2017.

almost exactly one year (to the day) after i posted my first "class" on YouTube.

i know that my classroom will not be for everyone, but i want to focus on product knowledge, making pretty pages, cards, projects and more for beginners, normal scrappers - all people who just want to enjoy preserving their memories in a pretty and fun way.  maybe sometimes we will do some serious techniques and throw in some magical heat embossing every so often... 

so

i hope those of you who will join me in this new journey i am embarking on will enjoy creating with me.
