Carefree.........

i was so excited to receive the new Free Spirit collection by Little Yellow Bicycle from the USA last week, that i immediately knew i HAD to make a page for Scrap and Stamp with it! luckily Desiree gave me the perfect photos!

the challenge over at Scrap and Stamp Saturday this week is to use DE-BOSSING. there is a GREAT tutorial by pamela on the blog. here is my version. i used a mixture of gold UTEE and Ranger Turquoise EP. i did 4 layers and then used the daisy stamp.

here i just painted the chipboard word with my Raspberry Paint dabber and added a layer of Glossy accents.

i cut out some of the flowers on one of the papers in the collection, and added them to the second page. this layout is very simple, but it took me 5 days to get it together. there are so many wonderful papers in the collection, and i wanted to use every one of them! i finally realised i could not use all of them (after cutting them up!!!!) and ended up with this! hope you like it! all the papers are available at Scrapbook Studio. now get yourselves over to Scrap and Stamp Saturday - the sponsor this week is GCD - their products are simply sublime..........(that will be on my next import list!!!!) a new design team has also been announced - some more South African talent!! world - watch out - here we come!
