time ATC

i decided to enter the Time ATC challenge on my RSA stampers group. i used a stamp by a local company, Great Impressions and one by Hampton Art as well as a mystery stamp.....................i also used a technique i discovered today............the final is next sunday and i can't wait to see everyone's ATC's!! i love the creations everyone makes! Debbie is the lady hosting it - she is very industrious!
time........does anyone have enough of it? i wished the past few weeks i had triple time - many more hours in the day to capture stock, unpack it, rush the people making the stands so that everything can go on display etc etc............but, i am sure i would have not used the time wisely. doesn't that happen to all of us? we wish for more time, and then we somehow waste it! life is so short, and we go around wasting a precious commodity like time on trivial little things, like snickering, complaining, getting upset when we should just let go, worrying etc etc.........we had a very special sermon today. you know, i am always very scared to miss church - just in case God had a special message for me. and wow, did He speak loud and clear to me today! we all have an image of Jesus. kind, loving, tender, giving second chances, healing, forgiving, inviting us to accept Him...........but did you know He has other faces too? how about the face we see in Matthew 5:27-30. look it up. i know it talks about a man lusting after a woman - but what about us? if we look at someone with envy, hatred, discrimination, if our tongues continually causes us to say the wrong thing causing hurt and pain- we have already sinned. Jesus says it is better to CUT the hand off, pluck the eye out and live without it, than ending up in hell. He says it PLAINLY. He does not say that it is ok to slander other people every now and again, or spread rumours, or cause strife amongst people, or be dishonest because it is business and it is justified, and lie because i had to - he says if something causes you to sin, GET RID OF IT! do not let ANYTHING cause you to end up in hell. and then, the most important thing that hit me between my eyes........................Matthew 6:14 and 15 "for if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you DO NOT FORGIVE men their trespasses, NEITHER will your Father forgive your trespasses" do you know what that means? if you still have feelings against your ex, the person that cut in front of you in line, the lady that did you in with the last business transaction, or ANYONE that you have not forgiven, and you get down on your knees tonight or tomorrow morning and ask God to forgive you for ANYTHING, those prayers are USELESS. our minister said that they don't even go beyond the ceiling of your room - you live in a fool's paradise if you think that God will forgive you if you can't forgive someone else. REGARDLESS of what they did. He is not saying you have to reconcile - there is a HUGE difference between forgiveness and reconciliation. unforgiveness is like walking with a sharp pebble in your shoe. all the time. every day. same pebble. it bothers you, but you get used to the blisters and the pain. would it not be NICE to be RID of the pebble? if you can't forgive someone for hurting you or ANYTHING, it does not help asking God to forgive you if you yelled at your child, lied about why you could not make the PTA meeting, broke a promise to someone - or anything. until you forgive WHOEVER you have to forgive, for WHATEVER they did to you - God will not forgive you. wow. i have some serious soul searching to do and i plan to make a list if there are people that i have not forgiven - for ANYTHING! i sure want God to forgive me for my sins!!! do you have anyone you need to forgive? some things might be really hard to forgive. really hard. i am sure. just remember what God has forgiven you for........................and if you need help - go down on your knees and ASK. God will never ask you to do something that you cannot do. seriously.
