tool (class) time!!!

FIRST OFF - APOLOGIES FOR THE POOR QUALITY PICTURES - IT WAS TAKEN WITH A DIFFERENT CAMERA

i had my card class today - and this is what the workstation looked like just after 8 this morning. nice and clean, with some of the class tools in the middle. it did not stay like this for long............

my students started arriving - as you can see - armed and dangerous! ( i told Jeanette she only needed a pair of scissors, double sided tape and her chalk, but she wanted to be "prepared"!!!

here i am in action ( thank you, Donsie!) explaining to them the wonderful world of Colleen watercolour pencils! ( please note the apron - they were stunned when i showed them how to clean a stamp TIM HOLTZ style on the apron!!)

this was the ONLY quiet moment of the more than 3 1/2 hours - when they were colouring their pictures like 1st graders! just to put you in the picture - we had 2 ladies that were basically brand new, 1 bling princess, 2 altered art junkies, 2 avid cardmakers/scrapbookers, 1 businesswoman and 2 friends - one of whom has been making traditional cards for more than 10 years.

i just had to grab their attention while they were colouring - just to see the faces!

here we have the two avid cardmakers/scrapbookers - Desiree and her mother Julina. i am not sure if i taught them anything new - they are old hands - but it looked as if they were having fun!

here is our "bling" princess and one of our newbies! ( jeanette - you are a TREAT!!!!)

and finally - our businesswoman, newbie and one of the altered art/technique junkies! thanks ladies, for a great day!
