a few cards...........
i have had an alcohol fillable pen for almost a year now, and i have not even opened the packaging. now that i have a shop with LOTS of them in stock, i thought it was time i opened mine up, and saw what it could do! and this is the result! i filled it with Sunshine Yellow Alcohol ink, as i thought it could be nice as a highlight.
i stamped the image on a transparancy with Stazon and then flipped it over to color it. i am still a bit new at this technique, so it looks a bit stripey! i colored the leaf with my Copics. i then cut a piece of the transparancy out with my craft knife and glued it with Glossy Accents to the tag that i punched. added an eyelet, some rope i colored with my chestnut roan colorbox ink, matted it a few times and stamped the image with an MSE sentiment. definately something i will do again!! i am going to invest in a few more pens - i am sure one could really have fun with it! i am entering this card into the challenge at unscripted sketches this week ( use your imagination!!
this one also developed because i wanted to PUNCH a flower, but forgot that my retro flower punch was at the shop. i then remembered that i saw somewhere that you could make a flower from punched hearts. ( trust me, i had something different in my head). assembled the flower, stamped the little butterflies (doodlebug) punched more circles to make the "scallop" border and used white glitter EP for the sentiment! i am entering this card into the challenge at allsorts ,the wildflower patch and flutterby
