muffins....

the challenge this weekend at Scrap and Stamp Saturday is to use red on your layout. i thought it would be a breeze, until i started looking for some red paper among my stash! almost NADA - until i looked through the American Crafts Travel pack we got at the Scrapbook Convention last year! some nice red stripes! paired it with some black and white dotted paper, and there you go! i knew i had to scrap a picture of some muffins i baked. they just looked so good - it was

the best they had ever come out! so, i did it! i got some American Crafts stamps from Monica for my birthday 2 weeks ago, and i had not had a chance to use them. they went along perfectly with the muffins! i stamped them on a light cream cardstock, cut them out and mounted them on some red CS. the title was also stamped with some All Night Media stamps and embossed with a home made embossing powder mixture. hope you like it! hop on over to SSS and enter your layout - you might just be the lucky winner of the prize this week! someone has to win!
