an ordinary box? don't be fooled! this is a box that was brought to the shop by the producers of the movie
BLUE CRUSH 2, a surfing movie to be filmed in Jeffreys Bay. they needed a memory box made for the lead character. i immediately volunteered Monica for the task - knowing that if anyone would do a magnifficent job, it would be her. and this is what she transformed the mundane looking box into, in less that 24 hours - a complete miracle!!
aged and covered with vintage findings from Monica's travels to various scrap shops, a flower for a touch of femininity, a key to a secret?
and inside...........a treasure chest. i know for a fact they did not pay her what the box was worth ( she did go all out) but i think the absolute thrill of knowing that your artwork will be viewed all over the world at random, is priceless........................ well done, Monica! i am proud to call you my friend and i know that this box will always be remembered!!!!!
