convention chapter 2........

this is the layout Nic Howard representing PRIMA did with us. i loved it. it was the only one that i finished there, and just had to add my photos. i think because our styles are so similar? i am not big on flowers, but this looked great! the flowers were all white - some green smooch glimmer spritz added the colour to the big flowers and some frayed burlap distress inks added the colour to the rest of the white flowers.

here is a close up of the clustered flowers and vine in the centre. LOVE the canvas alphabets! also the fabric flowers - i am pretty useless when it comes to the names of these thing, but i am sure the clever ladies will figure out what kind of fabric it is!

and a first for me - i used a Prime Flower centre!! i never buy these things - but WOW! just look at them. it really adds to the detail. also wanted to show a close up of the layering and the distressed paper edges. once again, a great lady. small little thing packed with talent and ideas. she talked to us about weighting your page - i knew what i was doing when i did that, i just did not know the right term! hope you like this one as well!! i am off to spend a few hours in the shop - it is the Shell Festival in Jeffreys this weekend, and i am opening the shop from 10 -1 for some holiday makers. i will hopefully be able to finish more of the layouts later today, as the weather is pretty miserable, so i don't think i will be wandering the streets! enjoy your Heritage/Braai day if you are in South Africa, and the rest of the world - it is FRIDAY!!! always something to be thankful for!!
