a real holiday.......

 

 i am not big on holidays.  i suppose it is because i don't know how to really do nothing and switch off.  also, i fear that if i don't read my emails for a day, order stock for the shop or post on the blogs, answer Facebook queries etc, the world will just fall apart.  can you, therefore, imagine my utter amazement when i went to Cape Town for a whole 8 days WITHOUT a PC or a smartphone - so no emails, Facebooks, shop-updates - no ordering stock, nothing!!  just no committments for a whole week..........i have to be honest, it was a bit daunting at first, but after about the 5th day, i really got into the swing of things! (PLUS - i discovered a thing called an "Internet Café", so i did cheat a teeny tiny bit)  i will post about all my adventures in detail as i get back into the swing of things, but for now i am still officially "on holiday" - even though i am back home.  management (Donsie) gave me off until next week Thursday!!!
