another single...

 soooooo, still busy with those singles!  this one was taken on Boxing Day a couple of years back - Marius and his sister.  she lives in the USA now, and she is about 13 years younger than he is.  very simple page - i kept everything close together, and used no patterned paper except for the background.  the strips are all 7Gypsies - their tape from years ago, way before Washi tape!  the red strip is fabric.

 embellishment wise - i used a Tim Holtz mask that i misted with Mister Huey and then i used Tarnished Brass Distress Stain to cover the scroll, and i stamped a random dictionary stamp over it afterwards.  i then covered it with Glossy Accents.  i cut the scalloped circle with my Cuttlebug and punched a smaller one to fit in it. stamped a clock with some wording in it.  very simple

the title was created using American Craft Thickers - i painted them black (they were a yellowy/creamy colour) added some journaling and all done!  i still have a few photos to go - and i think i know what i will be scrapping next!  some REALLY old photos!  xxxx
