remember the moments in between...

some moments are just in between moments...  the ones that don't really signify a huge happening, but were just part of your day or that make up the sum of our experiences.
i met my husband 18 years ago and i have been dragging these photos with me since he gave them to me to "keep".
in August 2016 i had some time at home and used it to preserve some of his memories - before i knew him.
the Penelope Dee Notable Collection was perfect for these photos.
i incorporated blue and yellow to the neutral palette and personally i think it really works well.

i heat embossed the stamped suitcase using gold embossing powder and then coloured the suitcase with dark shimmer brown Delicata Ink.  the title is a 49 & Market sentiment, stamped with the same Delicata Ink.
i used some Couture Creations Anna Griffin Embossing Paste with a Celebr8 stencil.  i mixed the paste with some Couture Creations Anna Griffin Gold Pigment Powder and then sprinkled a little bit of gold glitter over the mixture.
the flowers were coloured using Twinkling H20's - i absolutely ♥ these artist quality shimmering watercolours - you can use them in so many ways!  the tag was also coloured using Twinkling H20 - you can see the shimmer.
here is a close up of the suitcase - i really do like it :)  in the background you can see a Celebr8 balsawood element that i also coloured using Twinkling H20.  my splats were also made using Twinkling H20 paints.
here is a close up of the stamping.  see the leaves?  i used my Twinkling H20's through the Celebr8 stencil and then die cut the leaves ...  love the effect.  i created this effect on some leftover Penelope Dee Notable paper.
another close up of the stencil work and the Blue Fern Chipboard pieces i used.  once again, all colour was added using Twinkling H20's.
hope you will remember to scrap those moments in between...
