blessings....

 

the past 2 weeks have been a whirlwind... i won't bore you with the details, but suffice to say it was marred with challenges and circumstances extraordinaire - the likes of which i had not seen in many years.  most of these had nothing to do with me personally but were affecting people and places i love and care about greatly.

blessings don't always come in ways that have mainstream and popular appeal.  most people see health, wealth and happiness as blessings.  remember the old Toyota advert - everything keeps going right?  well, most people see that as blessings - when "things" keep going "right".

i am learning more and more that "things" are not blessings, but people are.  relationships - a smile, a hug, not being full of drama and issues, just being & accepting others as well as being accepted as i am...  to me those are HUGE blessings.

of course i have to thank Liefie as well - without him i would have wilted in this time - you held my arms up and i thank the Lord every day for you.  i love you.
