an eyelet challenge with penny

hi there!! thought i would upload a golden oldie .............i challenged myself a year ago to use LOADS of eyelets and brads on a layout - i have so many of them (when i started scrapping you HAD to use them on every layout) and last year this time i did not use either any more!! i also decided that i wanted to use some STUFF that i had - my ribbon slot punch, mica paint that i bought in the USA and random stamps that i had and NO patterned paper. it is actually just a bunch of STUFF thrown together. the subject of the page, my spaniel Penny, is a very strange dog............she is mostly lying flat on her back, waiting for you to scratch her. i never do - it is too much effort bending down that far!! so, she normally jumps up against me so that i can reach her head. but she is strange in other ways too........the sounds she makes, the way she smells chicken a MILE away, no matter HOW i try and disguise it, she smells it!! i do love her!!

which brings me to a question............what about an informal challenge making a scrapbook layout or a card using items that you have LOADS of, but hardly ever use??? i don't have a prize or anything - see it as a personal challenge. scrap a page with stash that you have not used in many moons and post a comment here with a link to your page, or email me a copy of your page and i will post it here on my blog. maybe we will get a sponsor for a prize............who knows!!!!!

Cool layout, Cariena! Love all those eyelets! That's a lot of hammering or crop a dile-ing! lol That is a good challenge. I've kind of embraced that thought for the whole year, use stuff I already have.
