loving inking again............
i have fallen in love all over with my distress inks. i do always use them, but every time i see what they do when they come in contact with water, it amazes me. really................ i made this card for a fellow stamper ( it is very hard to impress her, she has been stamping for many, many moons and i am just a baby stamper) and i do hope she will like it!! i did the ageing technique with the inks where you wipe them on your craft sheet and then spray it with water. you then twist the card into it, drying it with your heat gun, and repeating as many times as you like.
i then stamped my corner image with distress embossing ink, and embossed it with frosted crystal. i added the forever red and green perfect pearls over the embossed image. i do LOVE what that does! i hope you can see some of it! i then stamped the butterfly with Vintage photo and also sprayed it with water and dabbed it with a paper towel to remove the excess color. i put the whole card in my old typewriter, and typed the sentiment. added the faux stitching, rounded the corners and of course, had to have a button!! i hope she likes it and i also hope you like it!!!
