i have been looking at the "Ladies' Diary" Graphic 45 collection now for a long time.  i am amazed every day at the reaction of clients when they see the papers.  make no mistake, they are really gorgeous.  but, i had no idea what i would make with it.  to be honest, i never got the feeling that i HAD to scrap with it.  but, i decided to also "give in" and i bought a few pages.  it helped that Clarissa had just had her birthday party, and i had some nice pictures of her in her really fancy "ladies" outfit.  above you can see a close up of how i layered all the papers.  i added some wax cord between the blue and pink papers, as i felt it needed something to just "break" it, but not overwhelm.  i distressed the pink dotted paper.  i cut some of the clocks from one of the papers, and layered them at the bottom of the page.  the Prima bling is really old - i have had it for years, and i use it bit by bit!

i used some lace to also add some texture apart from embellishing.  the blackish tint on the edge of the lace was done with some stickles.  i added glossy accents to the roses and leaves.  i also used Mr Huey's White mist on the background - i did not mist with it, i just "splatted"!!

and here is the completed layout!  i used some American Craft Thicker Alphabets - they were yellow and i just put them on my craft sheet, and painted them black.  i used some Liquid Pearls to highlight the design on the blue outer frame - i think you can see them better in the first photo (or at least one of them!!)  hope you have a SUPER week!  xxxxx

I feel the same way about Graphic 45 papers...but you did a great LO with it! Must look into this wax cord that you used....sounds very interesting!
