(almost) All Things Tim Layout
I have been wanting to do an ALL THINGS TIM layout for months now. I just don't seem to get around to doing it - always something else I have to finish, or there's only time for a quick card etc. BUT, I finally decided that I was going to do it! As you can remember from yesterday, I was going to use my Grungepaper Rose on the page, but it was just too bulky, and I don't want it to get squashed in an album or frame that is not deep enough, and since this is a gift for my cousin and his new bride, I decided to play it safe!
The butterfly is from Grunge Nature Plain - I put it through my cuttlebug using the Swiss Dots folder. I then used Fired Brick Distress ink to colour it and sprayed it with a mixture of Aged Mahogany Reinker and Forever Red Perfect Pearls that I keep in my Mini Mister. I keep alot of these combinations for in case! I then stamped over it with a script stamp from Artistic Outpost with Black Soot Distress Ink.
The flowers are from Prima, of course, and the Adage Ticket and grunge swirl also from TH. I used my Silver and Gold dabber on the swirl and scratched it with the TH Tonic Scratcher, after which I rubbed some Vintage Photo Distress ink over it with my finger. The postage Stamp is also from TH's cardstock range - I still have LOTS!
I used his Mini Mask - Crown and Swirl and Tea Dye Distress Ink directly on my Patterned paper from My Mind's Eye's Backyard Collection - one of my favourite collections of all time - for the effect. Unfortunately I believe the collection is no longer available.
I decided not to give the layout a NAME, but just put their wedding date on. Once again I used TH Cardstock Numbers, cut them out and glued them to the page. I then used Glossy Accents to highlight them.
And there you have it! The lace I got at a haberdashery in town as well as the silk ribbon, and the ribbon with the red text is Prima. Hope you guys enjoy it - it was a fun and easy layout!
