Grungepaper Roses......

Well, I did it! I have been putting off even TRYING to make these roses, and today was the day! I had a very bad night last night - my sugar was acting up (I have been a type 1 diabetic for 20 years) and I seriously thought I had swine flu! I had the most horrible chills, headaches and body aches - YUK!! Felt REALLY bad until about 1:30 om today, and then I decided to PRAY my sickness away. All I can say is that God is faithful and I am feeling 100% better!
BACK TO GRUNGEPAPER ROSES! I am sure I did not do it right - I used the tutorial from Liz Walters - only up to the point where I used the template and cutting the slits. I then decided that it looked too complicated and switched to a flower tutorial by Maria, which can be found here. Very easy!! I did struggle with the glossy accents - you really have to use paperclips or something to keep the petals together once you have added the glossy accents, but it worked out ok, I think!
I am now deciding what to use it on - I am busy with an ALL THINGS TIM layout, and am hoping it will go on it, but we will have to wait and see!! My scrapbook layouts normally evolve as I go along, so I can never know what will happen! I will post the end result tomorrow!
