it's your day to shine
paola kindly sent me some Tilda images...............i could not wait to get my hands all inked up!! since i don't have the stamp - only the stamped image, i can only basically color her, or cut her out and lift her a bit. no masking and things like that. i opened my patterned paper box to find a paper so that i could choose the color scheme ( i am learning!!) and the leftovers from the sunflower card jumped out at me! so - here is another card in green and blue!! (my favourite colors anyway!!)
i colored Tilda, and then i stamped the Whiff of Joy bench and cut it out. i then also cut out Tilda. i took white CS and blended the bottom with Lettuce Adirondack Dye ink and the top with Denim. i then mounted the bench and elevated Tilda. i then added the grass (arylic stamp), and the flowers - stamped and embossed the flowers with Butterscotch EP and then overstamped the flowers again. i then took glossy CS and stamped my favourite background swirl with the clear resist on it, and heat dried it. it then brayered it with Palette Hybrid in Blue and green. then i punched circles and cut them in half to create the border. the sentiment is from Scrappy Cat. sorry that the picture is a bit blurry - i need to go to bed and i thought it was in focus, but i really do not have the strength to retake it............hope you like it - please let me know if you do!!!

First of all it is nice to see that your hubby encourages you. I have one of those.
I love your card and I can't see anything wrong with your colouring of the bench. Looks great to me. Tilda looks gorgeous. a lovely all round card.
