scrap and stamp challenge 6 February 2010

hello all!! this is my interpretation of the "inspiration" challenge over at Scrap and Stamp Saturday today.

this is the picture we had to draw inspiration from! at first i thought i had to use the picture on my layout (you can see i am new to this world!!!) but thank goodness we only had to draw inspiration from it!!!i used 4 photographs of things in my life that i love. i grouped them together and added some elements around them.

i used a border stamp by Prima on the light Olice CS, stamped it with Pesto Adirondack Ink. i then cut the 4 with my slice and stamped the words with my Making Memories Magnetic Stamps. i randomly added some paint streaks (adirondack Terra Cotta Dabber)

i ruffled the ribbon and adhered it with my tiny attacher. i painted the grunge heart also with the terra cotta dabber, and used my adirondack terra cotta ink to color the embroidery thread i stitched with here, because i did not have the right color thread.

here i used my splatter stamp with some terra cotta paint, and the LOVE was also stamped with the paint. these are Making Memories Foam stamps. hope you like the layout, and we would LOVE to see what you can come up with! hop on over to the blog - don't forget that the bloghop ends tomorrow night!!!

I love your take on the layout. It's different. Love the pictures of things in your life---all beautiful. I think it was great that you surrounded these things with grunge accents. So cool.
