One of the best things about playing along at Scrap and Stamp Saturday is the challenge of using your all too loved stamps with your scrap pages. Every page you see here will have a stamped image of some sort on it and it continues to challenge each of us to complete a page a week and hopefully it will encourage you as well. We love reading about you and your families and getting to know you better. We hope you will play along as we challenge you to get that album done!! i know for a fact that i love making my cards, but to use your stamps on your scrapbook pages, is sometimes a challenge! that is why i love
Scrap and Stamp. it really forces me to use a stamp on a Scrapbook page almost every time! (now i don't want to use finished embellishments anymore - i just want to STAMP!!!!)
The Design Team was given this Sketch as inspiration
Here is my interpretation of the sketch
i have very few pictures of me and my hubby together. this was taken about six months ago at my cousin's wedding. i love the way we just look TOGETHER!!
here i used a ribbon slide from Making Memories that i have had for ages. the hearts were cut with my slice, the journal one edged with my Pitch Black Paint dabber, and the red one was cut from Heidi Swapp's Invisible's range, and i inked it with my Fired Brick Distress ink. i stamped the swirls directly onto the Kraft paper with Versamark and embossed it with my red EP. the stamps i received in the mail this week from a benefactor in the USA - (more about that later)
the stars were also cut with the slice, and i wanted to add a red button, but i did not have the right red. then i remembered that you could emboss them!! so i just embossed the button with my red EP, and VOILA!!
the scallops were made by punching circles from the ledger paper and the Invisibles, and then cut in half, and arranged where i wanted them around the black cardstock.
