Rea's Card....

this card is for a very special lady - my friend Rea in the USA. she knows why. because it takes so long for parcels to travel across the ocean, i told her i would put it on my bog. Rea, you are very special. i know that you have made a difference in my life and i appreciate YOU. thank you........................
the card details are simple - i used my Colleen pencils and baby oil to color the image, and cut it with........(drumroll)......a NESTABILITY!! wow! my first! still have to get the hang of it! i used the leftovers from my Jenni Bowlin layout for the papers. i cut 2 hearts from GRUNGEBOARD with my cuttlebug - took me a while to figure out the sandwich for that- the grungeboard is very thick. i then painted them with my new paint dabbers. i took some off white Prima flowers and distressed them with Chestnut Roan and then added some buttons also painted with the dabbers. i put the brown cardstock through the cuttlebug as well - Swiss Dots. i then took my SPICA pen en did the fake stitching on the hearts. used some stickles on Tilda's pockets and the ladybug. i think this Tilda is called Tilda with Ladybug?
when i finished the card, i looked on Desiree's blog ( she has all the challenges listed, and she is such a wonderfully organised person) and i saw that it qualified for the following challenges:
