as promised....ratings

as promised, here is the first in a series of "homegrown" tests i did on all the different cardstocks i own, and my colouring mechanisms! first off, we have tombow pens.

what are tombow pens? Tombow pens are water-based, non-toxic, acid-free, and odorless. For one of the most fantastic tutorials on Tombow colouring, please visit Lori McCroskey's. THEY ARE NOT THE SAME AS COPICS - Copics are alcohol based!

why did i do this? well, i get confused with all the paper out there, and the mediums to use. because i do various different things, months sometimes pass without me colouring one picture, using a pen or a specific tool. i then get very frustrated when i want to do something and i just JUMP in, and i do not get the result i desired! i therefor decided that i want to start making myself a reference guide of techniques etc. OF COURSE i started with lots of gusto, but that has tapered a bit - lots of other things got in the way of my creativity lately and in the way of the way i want to be and live my life, things that are important to me.........but hopefully i am back on track now!

i gave each paper a * (star) rating according to how i found it to be, blending wise. i am by no means an expert, i just went through a colouring phase and wanted to know how my TOMBOWS would fare! if anyone has different experiences - please share!!
