Cool Cat Digital Stamp By Hambo's

As I blog hop, I come across some fascinating things - one of these were DIGITAL STAMPS! I never. I feel as if I have not even scratched the surface off stamping, and here they are talking about Digital Stamps??? Anyway, thanks too GOOGLE, I looked it up, and it is basically like printing an image on your PC. Except of course the design is available in a resizable format, and you can't ink it up with your favouriute ink! I downloaded this Cool Cat from Hambo Stamps, just to try it out. I printed the cat on 230gsm Watercolor paper, as I wanted to use my Lyra water soluble crayons that I had bought a few months ago, for the first time! I actually bought them for Mixed Media/Altered Art projects ( Milliande uses them alot) and they had just been lying in my "things to color with drawer" since I bought them. I think the Lyra's will last me a lifetime - I literally just touched my aquabrush onto the crayon to get all the colour.
The red I touched maybe twice (lol) to get it a bit darker, but the cat's brown and the water! I tell you, just the tip of the brush! I then added stickles to all the glittery areas, and after the stickles were dry, I used glossy accents to give the floating device some dimension. I then covered a chipboard scalloped label with patterned paper, added a strip of PP to the left side and some bling to just brighten it up! As I am still adding to my collection of sentiments, I had nothing to say that was fitting, but found the "Playtime" sentiment amongs my Artistis Outpost stamps. Just goes to show!

Hope you guys like it - I will be doing some more serious stuff next - although I have to admit that the coloring is VERY therapeutic!!
