challenges with a difference...

i decided to move away from cards for the following two challenges - the first one being the Play Date Cafe. these colors JUMPED out at me - turquoise is my favourite color, and the other three just complimented it so perfectly! i painted my ATC background with Ranger's Dimensional Paint, as well as the maroon square. the white and black inchies were done with my Adirondack Paint dabbers. i then added 3 layers of clear UTEE to each square, and then stamped the coffee cups and muffin into them while they were still hot. i first put some Versamark on the stamp and then my Archival - they were clear stamps and i had never used them with this technique before, but they seemed fine! stamped the sentiment also with black Archival ink, and there you go!! the second challenge that i am entering this ATC for, is Ink on my Fingers. here you had to use squares. i had actually made a different item for this challenge yesterday already, but i chickened out - the colors were just too bold - and i was scared that i might scare everyone away!! LOL!! anyway, i hope you like the ATC - let me know if you do!

Love the ATC!! How cute, and I like the way the UTEE "took" the stamping.

Gorgeous ATC ..thanks for joining in with the Sunday Stamper....and...about your comment .. you said you haven't many stamps that are small...I don't either...I just use part of a stamp instead and if there is a big blank bit I add some black dotty bits or a swirl to fill it in...HTH! thanks again...Hels x
