absolutely last card for today......
ok, i am actually cross eyed by now, and think i am going to need a weekend to recover from my crafting weekend!! LOL!! i was (really) on my way to bed about an hour ago, when i spotted Desiree's blog. once again she had this card for all these challenges (i really don't know where she finds them) and since i really do not like pink, hearts or girly things, i decided that this was a REAL challenge!! so, i tried to quickly put together a card! just before i explain what i did, a note: i do have real embellishments. LOADS of them. rubons, stickers, bling, brads, eylets and all kinds of things. i just very rarely look at them. i love paper and TOOLS - paint, stamps, inks etc, things to MAKE things with! customise them! BUT, i will try and use some of my ready-made things next week. MY OWN CHALLENGE TO MYSELF!!! so here goes!!
i used the sketch at the Sweet Stop
i used hearts and flowers for Allsorts
i used the sentiment for One Stop Craft Challenge
and FINALLY i made everything PINK for Crazy 4 Challenges
i stamped the big heart onto the DP from Glitz girls with Palette's Bordeaux ink. i then stamped the 2 flowers with Memories Chalk pink, stamped again with Versamark and embossed with clear EP. i then blended some of the Bordeaux ink over it - it has a really nice look close up, some of the areas are whitish because of the resist. i then stamped the grid on the bottom (also Glitz girls) and stamped the sentiment with one of my MSE alphabets (do they still exist????). added two bling brads from American Crafts (i have been wanting to use those for a long time - i know they might be a bit big for my flowers (killed that poor stamp too - it was actually yellow when i bought it already, and this was the second time in two years that i actually used it, and when i tried to take ot off the block, the one petal just came off) i think it is time to give all the stamps a "clean and service" sometime....
and now i am dead meat. i have to catch some ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ'sssssssss!!!! please leave a comment - i m working myself to death here!!! (playing myself to death, actually!!)
