just a card - because i wanted to!!

michelle roberts from my RSA stamping group sent me this image, along with a few others when i decided to enter "Copic World" last year. i had not used many of the images sent to me, as i did not use my Copics!! now that i belong to the Copic Group, i am looking for images everywhere to color!! i loved doing this sunflower. the image came to me embossed, and i was worried that the Copics would react with the embossing, but it worked wonderfully!! the CS it is stamped on is also fantastic for blending- i have no idea what it is, but i will ask Marcelle. the DP i bought more than two years ago, and had been waiting to use it - and can you believe it - the sunflower and the paper found each other!! it is by Bo Bunny. hope you like the card - please let me know if you do! i fear that i am very boring with my card layouts - they almost all look the same!! i will try and do some different ones this week.
that's it for this MARATHON weekend of posting! tomorrow is Monday and back to the grinding stone. it is going to be a long week for me, and i am praying for lots of Grace. i hope that all of you will have a splendid week and i want to SINCERELY thank everyone for their comments and for reading my ramblings! i will have some blog candy when i reach 5000 hits to say thank you - and as i love all styles, i promise that there will be something for everyone!!!
