Valentine's Ball 2009 Layout

my PA, Desiree, has 3 beautiful daughters, aged 15 (almost 16) 14 and 8. Her 15year old wanted to know why i only scrap Marius, my dear husband. when i told her that i had no one else to scrap, she handed me these pictures of her Valentine's Ball, 2009. i had them for about a month, and everytime i saw them i just looked away - i had no idea of what to do! then last week, i decided that come hell or high water, i was going to do this layout! as i started going through my DP, i saw these from Urban Lily, Rock Star. i had bought them when i just started scrapping more than two years ago, and knew that i might do something with them one day! and the day arrived!! i did not use any other embellishments except the chipboard heart that i painted with red SMOOCH and did some faux stiching with my Inkssentials White Opaque pen, and glittered the HAVE FUN and the star, that was already on the one DP. i cut the words with my Cuttlebug and just added some Stickles to them as well, did the journaling and there you go! i also liked being able to use so many photos on the other side, with just the DP strip in the middle of a deep red cardstock - i felt that Tarien looked so beautiful, that she had to be the main feature of the layout. any comments would be appreciated!
