another Tim tag.............

aah, Mr Holtz did it again! such an elegant and simple design, with so much impact! i do not own the rosette die, and i have been BEGGING for it since it was released. i always miss it by one. the last one sold just now. someone ordered the last 6 a few minutes ago. BUT jodi sanford at the convention taught us how to make one this year, and i am so glad she did! the tag starts of being misted - i used mini misters filled with walnut stain and heirloom gold perfect pearls. after drying it with my heatgun, i stamped the music stamp with archival ink. i then distressed the edges. i then randomly cut a piece of MME Lost and Found paper into a 12" strip. i think i cut it a bit wide, but that's ok. i then used the Martha Stewart scoreboard to score the paperstrip at every second interval. i then valley and mountain folded the strip where i scored. i glued the two sides together, and there was my rosette! i added walnut stain ink with my fingers in the pleats - it looks so cool! just like Tim's rosette, i think!!! a chipboard circle covered with book paper and two gold bells finishes the rosette off, with the red glitter stuff behind it. i used my Slice machine to cut the sentiment from the Expressions card. added the brads at the bottom and Christmas red stickles to give them some oemf! i do hope you like my tag! if you want to see the original with all the step by step instructions, here is the link!
