alcohol inks....and all things tim..

hello all you wonderful people! i have been working VERY hard, so i am so happy to be home before dark today!

i was going to teach an alcohol ink class on Saturday, which is not happening anymore, so i thought i could share some of my samples with all of you!

i love alcohol inks. i don't use them enough - i know, and sometimes i forget i have them, but they can really add alot to your projects!

here i just used the air splatter technique with a straw- i have NO IDEA where Tim found the compressed air - here in my part of the world it seems to be scarcer than gold! but, my straw worked fine - i just wiped the little spitlets up!! LOL!

on this sample i just used the DTP technique - nothing else. i used a few drops of blending solution, and just let it air dry. all images were stamped with Ranger's Archival Ink and the stamps are all from Tim Holtz' Stampers Anonymous.

i used a paint dabber around the edges. there are so many tutorials out there - but if i have enough interest, i will post the tutorial with pictures. it really took me 10 minutes to make these - i think they are perfect for a card or a main feature on a scrapbook page. maybe a canvas............or an altered project.........the possibilities are endless! i will post some more "inked" goodies later!
